I like this uof talisman idea.... |

Found it on google today... Only applies pvm for nonbards and nontamers. Would be neat to see orignal srcher or warrior builds have some pvm perks. http://www.uoforum.com/wiki/index.php?ti..._Talismans
Ideas...
1. Crap skills make them useful (fix what ea couldnt like herding or arms lore). This may be controversial.
2. T2a pvm exclusive item or neckpace that enhances armor or attack for pvm for nonbards and nontamers ... Would help see more builds in dungeons.
3. Another idea... Have dungeon skills help pvm...(non tamers, non bards)
A. Stealth backstab
B. Poison arrows pvm
C. Parry shield bash
D. Mace double vs undead
Etc
4... Pvm archer and weapon bonuses based on favorite monster types tied in to the cool uolostlands achievements systems.... Like dnd where u get a bit more armor or damage.
In the end i play uo my way which is extremely uncommon these days. 17-20 years ago the game was diverse due to pack of scripts, sense of new adventure and rarity to get tough skills like magery, barding and provo. However now u need a pvm char, a pvp char etc...
Would be neat to see more rp rewards thst are simply not uor crap. Id like to see some neat stuff for traditional chsrs so more builds are out but also out in dungeons.
It would be neat to if like 3 rogue skilld= backstab (hid stealth lockpick etc) in pvm or 4 warrior skills gives u damage and defense.
Even cooler is if tied into platinum achievements i love that system.
Sorry for typos on cellphone

Id bump uo to 10$ monthly for this longshot dream...
a. Allow higher stretched resolution internally for window and fs mode
B. Bump up fps from 15 to 30 or 60... Or make the running less jaggy...(smooth)
I have seen some custom clients on reddit but would be cool if baked in to the shard installer.

spawns west of britain below yew... not t2a era and a bit odd |

I love that there are alot of spawns but nebiews will most likely ignore them:
a. low amounts of gold, same item drops (maybe more rare minibosses, chance for magic item)
b. the respawn rates are 2-4x higher than t2a era (almost instant)
c. the amount of different spawns are high in a small area (1-2 screen window)
it is common to see 2 ettins, 1-2 ogres, 1-2 trolls, 1-4 orcs, 1-2 spiders, 1-2 ratmen, 1-2 mongbats, 1-2snakes and 1-5 misc animals/monsters in areas near xroads to britain to yew in the woods (near mountain to ocean).
In the t2a/pret2a era:
a. often these different groups were rivals and often attacked each other specifically large snakes and I forget ettins vs orgres or trolls?
b. the spawns were slower (at least 1-2 minutes after the group was wiped out..) i like the faster spawns but you dont even have time to loot before more monsters spawn
c. often the monsters were distracted/killing eachother
d. they didnt all live in the same area at all times. you would have an ettin... by himself. or a couple spiders or a few ratmen but not all of them on the same screen living peacefully together.
e. you can easily just run by them all... the ai seems slow to react/turnaround and attack.. however once you are attacked you have 10-40+ monsters on you.
f. this does make trinsic portal a fun spot to gain stuff early on but it doesnt make sense sometimes to see orcs, trolls, ogres, wisps, spiders, snakes etc all chilling.
suggestions:
a. spread out the spawns a little
b. slow down the respawn (example moonglow cemetary.. .liche near instant-respawns)
c. more minibosses
d. restore old rares like furs and other fun stuff to encourage vets to train newbs
Another example was around the corner of the destard entrance (follow cave to right then up... there is a little dip in the mountain)... there were about 10 different monster types in a small area.

a. cannot shoot while on horseback (mongolians, native americans could..) but you can cast magic spells, stab someone with a dagger or use a heater shield.
b. peacemaking can bring a warrior to peace but not break a pre-casted or casting progressing spell (interruption).
those would have been neat fixes back in the day. I may post more ideas along the way.
c. enticement/disco... would of been neat to see what his vision was... i find that alot of it was the fluff/fun of it like herding.
d. new players spent days, months , year+ playing the small game exploring sewers, rat camps etc. i'm hoping to check out a lost lands rare spawn someday! would be cool if some of the newb places had higher oddity spawns and lower frequency/density of overall low quality spawns. i was thinking today about goofy items that low-quality spawns had that we gave to our mentors (furs etc)... or that every pack was a new adventure/worth killing.

a. ettins
b. ogres
c. spiders
d. grizzly bears
these no longer feel like they did when we were kids or as rewarding. in addition some areas as a new player have them non stop spawn on top of eachother and if you kill a few they respawn super fast. maybe hot spots should have quick spawns but space out others.
remember fur? this gave me the thought of making odd ball stuff a major part of our game again. .. instead of run by skip 10-50 gold.
South west of the brigands camp near xroads there were 15+ baddies on the screen i just ran through (ettin, ogres, spiders, bears, snakes etc) .
The spawn seems a bit quick where it can be overwhelming to new players (skip part of what was fun discovering the wild)... gold boost would be nice if ettins/ogres were a nastier threat.
In the moonglow cemetary the spawn is a bit quick even for a bard you often catch a breath and the litch is back. can there be a 15 second breather added or more? thanks! (old t2a spawns were nice but not wavey)
