so im going for a tank mage variation i have


100 tactics


100 swords


100 anatomy


100 eval


84.8 parry


82.7 magery


67.9 healing


the only other skilli have going up is hiding for later if i need it but thats at 10.8.


the problem i encountered was after i went and helped out a new player Baldrock work on his skill. I came back to WBB to macro flamestrike and switched to my blacksmith and after400 reags and a couple hours not a single .1 skill gain. I thought hmmmm... thats wierd. So i downgraded to Energy Bolt, another400 reags another couple hours still not a single .1 raise. I said hmm still wierd im not going to give up, i switched to Reveal, used the last of my money another 400 reags another couple hours. Nothing, ive been doing this since yesterday i even logged him out for almost an hour see if that helped i switched to EBB. I even Switched the computer i was running on, im just at my wits end trying to figure why even after i came up with more gold to get more flamestrike reags it still didnt raise .1. My blacksmith is beating my mage at 89.1 and thats never happened before. Kinda losing my marbles here ive been going pretty hard at these chars for a lil over a week im hitting a brick wall right about now any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

  Crate Decay in Home [Not a bug]

I had around 6 medium lockable crates upstirs in my castle. They weren't locked down or secure. Ilogged in last night and they had decayed but the keys were laying on the floor where the crates had previously been. The bags that I placed downstairs weren't locked down or secure either. They, however, did not decay.

  How to gain Meditation

I've had a few questions about this so I'll just post how meditation works here.

Meditation is difficulty based, and it's based on the following: Your INT, your Current Mana and your meditation skill. The percentage mana you have remaining, and your meditation skill will determine whether you are successful.

This is a simple but fugly table showing what levels of mana you should be meditating at while at a certain meditation skill. The rows represent your percentage of mana and the columns are your meditation skill.

In the red zone, you either have a 100% chance of success or 100% chance of failure, meaning it's impossible to gain in these areas. The pink/blue zones will allow gain, the ideal spot being in the darkest shade of blue.

  ? about LL inaccessible spots

So just a question. I am trying to tame some frenzied ostards for myself, and I found the spot in LL they spawn. However, there is 2 patches of land that are inaccessible right now. They are raised up on the mountains, and no matter what tile or what angle you try, you cannot teleport up to that patch of forest.


The problem is that currently there are like 6 frenzied ostards and a nightmare up there that are not accessible at all. This means that only 1 or 2 are spawning down in the areas you can actually get to.


Just wondering if there is some trick for getting up over a mountain that you can't teleport to, or if these critters will eventually despawn from that area and spawn back down in the spots we can actually reach.

  Magical items constantly draining charges

Currently any magical items with charges with passive effects such as night eye, strength, cunning, etc. are not working properly. When you equip an item like this it applies the effect, using a charge, and then drains further charges at a rate of about 1 per 5 seconds or so as long as you are wearing it.


Taking an item off immediately ends the effect even when its something that should last for a couple minutes, like a bless.

YOU REALLY NEED TO STOP DOING THIS.


the main purpose of t2a is no trammel. smithing was UNPLAYABLE with the old menu system. it took 6 months to gm smithing in '99. nobody has that time today. this server is fun but you are gonna make it not fun. i have worked hard to raise skills here and you will make it unplayable.


i just dont want to start over somewhere else.


it would really be useful if you got off the stick to t2a stuff. SOME CHANGES MADE LATER WERE VERY GOOD CHANGES. thats why they changed them. the smith menu and all the others were a MAJOR IMPROVEMENT in the game. it enabled you to see information on what to smith, what your chances of success were and made it easy to make last.


i see platinum here. WHY? definately not t2a.


also, the moongates. they are UNUSEABLE and NOBODY IS USING THEM. you do realize that it ruins the economy with no moongates.


moongates were the focal point for PLAYER VENDORS. people hung out at the gates. that made thievery fun. the most important thing about them were PLAYER VENDORS. people always travelled between the gates and town, so thats where all the vendors were.


i have spent ALOT of time on this shard and have many characters building up. i really enjoy this, but you are gonna make it UNPLAYABLE.
