With this macro I use Target by Type in case the original target is killed by other players. I choose a type of animal that seems to be spawning inside the pen but not outside of the pen so I don't kill myself.

  • Advertising for other shards is not condoned. You are free to talk about other shards, but suggesting that someone else play another shard or obvious advertising is not.
  • Telling someone to "leave the server" is completely unacceptable and will also not be tolerated in game.
  • Be respectful towards other players. Repeated targeting and badmouthing of players is unacceptable.
  • Be respectful toward staff. This shard is totally free of charge and donation rewards. Staff put in their free time to make UO Lost Lands a fun place to play.
  • If you have an issue with another player, take it up in private message. Do not bicker about it in the main channel.
  • Nicknames targeted toward harassment or badmouthing another player are not acceptable, this is harassment.
  • Threatening to "leave the shard" if demands are not met to staff or other players in channel is grounds for instant dismissal from Discord.
  • Scamming through the public channel in Discord or via a public forum post is not permitted. If ALL negotiations are done in private and public posts are not utilized at all, this is legal (because there is no way to enforce a private message), so in that situation, buyer beware.
  • Impersonation will result in instant dismissal. This falls under scamming.
  • Staff reserve the right to ban idiots.
The decision to kick/ban players from the network is entirely at staff discretion. In the 11 months UO Lost Lands has existed there have been a total of 0 bans, let's keep it that way.

Soma mentioned something about books for seeds. 

I'm not sure how those work, but anything that will help keeping the seeds in some order would be great. I guess the books lets you keep them in categories of type and color or something. The platinum vendor could sell them?  

Seeds are not stackable and you just find them laying everywhere - in bags, in containers, on the floor, in your backpack... It's hard times for the garderners!

  Can't run more than 2 steps

I'm having issues getting around without constant snags. Every 2 steps my character is stuck for a second and has to do the stop moving animation to then start again. It's like I'm constantly running into something invisible but lose no stamina (have full stamina) and there's no system message about anything being in my way or moving past it.

I use the re-synchronize client hotkey in razor and this helps rarely, offsetting my character a space but it doesn't help me while trying to move around. I haven't used a mount yet but this shouldn't be happening while on foot. I also have enable frame skipping checked even though this game should come nowhere near close enough to pushing graphic limits. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Thank you ^.^ Also, I have restarted several times with no improvements.

Selling 5 things at once may be correct for that era but can we consider omitting it?

For starters it would allow a stable source of income from selling crafted supplies, promoting peoples interest in crafting allows for more long term players. or as i like to call them "Old Timer's."

Kick starting that may I also make a suggestion, since UO isn't in its prime as it once was, Brit Packed, people fighting in dungeons. May we consider a faster means for utilizing player NPCS.

What I suggest is two things, One; a vendor Mall, or location where people can go to shop. Its not relevant to have them at a house out in the boonies of Yew! Two; a coded version, and with that comes hard work. probably takes time and money to code but its well worth it in the hopes of attracting attention to new players.

  Patch 31 - 07/27/15 - Some era accuracies and fixes

Not a major patch by any means, but a restart is necessary mainly to fix an issue with mob HP regen being much too fast.

Crafting & Plants

  • Failure to craft an item now only consumes half of the resources required to craft that item. Although this will have the consequence of making skill gain easier, for the moment skill gain has not been altered. It will be adjusted with the next patch.
  • The resources returned from smelting an item is now slightly randomized. At GM skill level it is a minimum of 50% of the item’s total resources, and a maximum of 66%.
  • It now only takes 20 fertile dirt to fill a plant bowl.
Spells
  • Fire field and poison field work slightly differently. Prior to this patch, running into a fire field would make the caster eligible for murder. With the new mechanics, the caster is only eligible for murder if the caster casts the field directly onto the victim. The caster will still become a criminal if a blue player runs through the field spell, but the caster will be allowed to defend themselves if attacked by the player. If a character who is perma grey, criminal or red runs through the field spell, the caster is in no way responsible.
  • Recall now has a short delay. The delay is almost unnoticeable, but it will allow you to hide in the delay and recall in un-noticed.
  • Fireball, Earthquake and the Invisibility spell now have the era accurate sound IDs.
  • There is no longer any delay (other than action delay) to use a wand multiple times in succession.
Monsters, PvM & NPCs
  • Mounts will run out of stamina faster depending on your weight. You can still run quite a lot of distance, but on large trips you will be advised to carry food to keep your mount refreshed.
  • Taming something now cancels all current bard actions associated with that creature. This should solve an issue where tamers were getting guard whacked a few minutes after taming a provoked animal.
  • NPCs now use the era accurate text when describing what skills they can train. Also, there are additional keywords for training, which will make it much easier to be trained the skill. For example, prior to the patch, when training item identification, the only correct way to ask was “Train ItemID”. Post patch, the NPC will respond to “Identification”, “ItemID” and “Item Identification” .
  • NPCs that are following you will no longer use their “run” animation, which will make their movement appear smoother.
  • Some elemental monsters have had their sound IDs changed to the accurate T2A values.
  • The evil mage tower will now have its spawn time extended by 15 minutes when a player enters it. This can only occur once per tower.
Misc
  • Secure containers now have a weight limit of 400. Locked down containers allow limitless weight, so if you wish to store heavy things without them cluttering your house, you will now have to use locked down containers. Secure containers having limitless weight is nice, but makes housing far more secure than it should be.
  • Updated a couple of lines in runebooks which were using the wrong font.
  • Treasure maps now face south instead of east.
Fixes
  • Fixed a problem where unidentified magic gnarled staves simply appeared as “a gnarled staff” instead of “a magic gnarled staff”.
  • Fixed a problem with monster/NPC hit point regen being much too fast.
  • Fixed an issue with protection jewelry stacking.
  • Fixed a message given in error regarding “imported material” when smelting magic weapons and armor.
  • Removed a double spacing in the name “chainmail  coif”.
  • All references to “Discordance” are now “Enticement”.
Thanks to Myrnae for pointing out a lot of the inaccuracies that were corrected in this patch.
