This skill is used to create maps of your surrounding area and even world maps. However the most common use for cartography is for treasure maps.
Notable differences of cartography on UO Lost Lands:
- The skill is not activated with a mapmaker’s pen, but rather through direct use in the skill gump. All you require is a blank map.
- It does not matter which map you make to reach Grandmaster in this skill. All maps require the same skill to make, your chance of success in making a map is equal to that of your skill level.
How to gain: Simply use the skill on a blank map and select any map from the crafting menu. It is also possible to gain the skill when decoding treasure maps.
