Neat fun with colored ore
#1
What does everyone think about having colored ores add durability only to armor and weapons? It won't overpower anything and will add flavor to the gm equipment market.

ALSO

I have always thought it would be awesome to be able to smith appropriately colored weapons that correspond to the ingot color used to make them. It wouldn't overpower anything, but would again add flavor.

Thoughts?

I would definitely support the hue change. If a suit of shadow armor is shadow hued why not the weapons? I think the durability/attribute stuff could become a little overwhelming though. Smile

Ya.... Forget changing stats! But make the weapons match the armor! No brainier!

Sorry, but ore colored weapons are not something we're considering. Durability on armor based on ingot type could be a bonus, and is something I was planning on implementing. Weapons with higher durability already have a higher value when identified.
