Exceptional Instruments

I was thinking if exceptional instruments gave a bonus of like +5 to +10 to barding skills it would make those items useful and allow folks to stretch their bard templates a little bit and give people a reason to take 45 musicianship as a crafter to make them. They'd be like the "magical wizard's hat" of instruments.
