We need to put a limit on the number of followers a tamer can have.
Recommendation: 1+ taming skill/10 (max of 11 followers) or 1 + taming skill/20 (max of 6)
Reasons:
1) Nobody needs 50 wyrms or dragons
2) 50 or more wyrms can cause lag (at TI yesterday 60 wyrms dropped the boss in less than 5 seconds - and it got stuttery/laggy
3) You can do the same thing with 6 or 11 wyrms - it just takes longer
4) It's OP yo
Discuss...
Edit:
Basically what I'm saying is limit the number of pets that will follow a command.
You could still do resist parties...you would just have to bring them in 11 at a time (or 6 at at time)
If you have 50 dragons on screen, only 11 could guard you

Great idea! Nobody needs more than 6 pets at once...

I would vote for capping the number of followers using the latter strategy. Six white wyrms is more than enough firepower to still be (by far) the best PvM template but adds an appropriate level of risk to the high reward because the tamer would no longer essentially be invulnerable.
A couple more suggestions:
5) This shouldn't affect the number of animals one can stable
6) This SHOULD affect the number of summons (i.e., demons) so perhaps a blanket cap of 5 or 6 on any follower (regardless of the user's skill) should be used instead of the formula above. That would let lower level tamers control 5 or 6 lesser creatures and non-tamers to summon 5 or 6 demons.
7) This SHOULD also apply to hirelings to prevent a loophole of someone bringing 100 paladins but not to escorts, which are basically noncombatants.

I'm torn on this, because I enjoy instantly nuking things with a 30 pet stack as much as the next guy... However, it really bothers me that a tamer with a phat stock is virtually invincible to monsters AND PKs. Even a group of 4-5 PKs would probably all die if they attacked a tamer guarded by 30+ wyrms. Even with a 10 per limit a tamer is a juggernaut of pvm/pvp capability.

You'd be the exception to Abyz rule...

I'd like to get more input on this. I'm not opposed to putting a cap in place. Turrets are problematic from a development perspective too (since basically all PvM content will be trivialized by turrets).
