They're used to grow plants, you could probably sell them.

I can't figure out how to getthe seeds into a pot. What is the going rate for selling yellow and red seeds?

I'm not sure if they have much, if any value. The growing process takes more effort than collecting the seeds.

To plant the seed you must purchase a dirt bowl and fill it with dirt/fertile dirt. Then you must take care of the plant to grow it. It usually takes players a few tries and dead plants before they figure it out.

The plant must either be in your bank, or locked down in your house for it to grow. We don't have a plant guide on our forum but Googling UO plants, or asking in IRC, you should find the necessary information.
