If you're interested in seeing what items do and don't exist, and in what quantity, I've been working on getting an item database up and running.

A lot more interesting stuff will be added to this, like seeing what hues exist for items by clicking on the individual item. Currently if you look at sandals, it shows all the existing hues, however it's messy since they take up multiple pages. Also planned is transparency on weapons, so you'll be able to see what the strongest weapons are on the shard, and how many exist, as well as which items are considered "inactive" - such as when the player who owns it has not logged on for a long time.
The current database includes all items as of 05/18/15, and will not be actively updated until the shard restarts.
