Sailing

While sailing I occasionally hit an area of open water that states I have stopped and can not go any further. There is no object in front of me, no land around for a long distance, no sea creatures or items left behind from an elemental.

There is nothing there, yet I can not proceed forward. I have drifted to the left and right for several tiles but I still can not go forward anymore.

Any Ideas?

I find it happens around 143 6'N 54' Wi can not travel any further in a southern direction

Heading north i stop at 142 7' N 98' W, it's weird nothing in the water. I just can't go any further.
