This loot box cannot be opened by magic or lockpicking. If one follows the clues in the book they can open the box where Cyriacus has stashed some loot!
This riddle is holiday based so don't think too much. There is no keyword teleporting like in my last riddle.

Oh, yeah, I saw the relation. It was a good connection. I just didn't see any key
I was trying facing movements at the chest ("look both ways") trying to get it to unlock. I thought the 2nd book was another riddle, instructions for how to get the chest to unlock. Stand on the grass across the street from the chest, turn left, turn right, walk to the chest, and poof it opens. pfffft, a key. who knew!?

It's pretty crazy that Cyriacus had cut off the wise man's ears, locked them in the chest, then lost/gave the key to the wise man. I'm glad no blood got on those white pieces of cloth!
