I just noticed this on here recently but when I try to drink a strength or dexterity potion back to back or just while I'm under the effects of the last str or dex pot I'll get a message like "You are already under similar effects.". Is it era accurate? If it is, does it matter?

It won't let you drink it if you're under the affects of any other related strength/dex increase. Yes, it is era accurate.

Yes, this is accurate. On the demo you may not use any stat enhancement ability when you already have a buff for that stat active, even if the buff for the stat is only +1. This was implemented here a while back.
