This is a taming guide and macros to semi afk it. There are most likely better ways and faster but these are easy and I like that. I did not write these macros but got them from a server I played years back but they work good here also.

First off I always start tamer with 50 in skill. I always start on ice island but there are other animals and areas that work.

I get a boat and park it on the shore of ice island. Tamer on boat with the macro running. I use an alt to drag a frost troll to boat and then lure the animals needed for whatever skill I am at. Start with snow leopards up to 65.1 skill then move to the wolves on island up to 71.1

What about the keep method in the swamp? taming alligators and such

I just recently finished my tamer and here is how I did it...

Start with 50 taming/50 magery. I macro'd animal lore up to GM before I started, but probably not necessary.

Go to compassion, tame scorpions up to 58-59. From there you can also tame the giant spiders that are also located at compassion. I did this until about 72. I parked my tamer on the area where the shrine is located and used a second character to lead the spawn to him.

Go to Delucia and tame bulls. You can do it right behind the healers and right outside the norther gate. I did this until I was able to tame hell hounds (about 84.9). I used the second character method again, this time he killed the bulls after they were tamed.

Then I used the Hythloth hell hound room method to GM. If you aren't familiar with it, google it. You use a second character to provo orc lords on to each other, they act as blockers for hell hounds and other spawn. Then just set up a razor macro to heal both characters. A word of advice: lead the gargoyles and orc mages out of the room. Also the pathfinding on NPCs (including monsters) is a tad more aggressive than other shards. You will need to provoke the northern blocker on the southern player. Your two guys should be in the same guild to avoid flagging.

After it was all said and done this took me about 6 days to finish taming.
