This isn't nerfing tamers.
Tamers will still be more or less untouchable (especially if you can have 11... 1 mount +10 drags)
Tamers will still be able to solo anything (except maybe not TI bosses?)
Tamers will still be the best PVM class BY FAR.
What are you all worried about with the change? How would it be a bad thing?
I hear some people are against it but I have not seen any objective reasons aside from "era accuracy", which honestly is a valid reason to keep it as-is and I'd be OK with it if it didn't change based on era accuracy.
It causes stuttering/lag when 60+ dragons or wyrms attack a boss with a ton of HP - screw mechanics, that's game breaking.
Exactly.
For the record, I have a tamer and it's my primary source of gold. I in no way think this would affect a tamer's ability to farm gold. You might have to actually heal your pets tho...what a concept!
Apoc - I don't think there should be a limit on pet slots, but rather the number of pets that will follow commands. You can have 100 dragons in the stables and can pull them all out to farm, but only 11 will be able to follow a command at a time.

Exactly.
