Reduce cost of Name Change Deeds

I think that 200 platinum is a bit steep for name change deeds. Something in gold value would be ideal really but perhaps just a more reasonable platinum cost like around 10-25 or so?

That's wayyy too low. You're basing that that off of the SA cost in gold I'd think, and NCD's there were holiday gifts and were everywhere. It's a rarity here.

I would think around 100 plat would be reasonable. That's ~350-400k at current plat rates, which costs more than building a new character but saves the time. Which is fair, because people changing their names a lot would not be a good thing imo.

I'd like a 1,000 platnum name change deed. If people get a bad rep, they shouldn't be able to easily wipe the slate clean with a name change deed. When they do wipe it clean the price should be high enough they only do it once

You're suggesting 4 million gold to change your name.  The only reason I'd ever change a name here is to keep my neon hair, which...would also make you super recognizable.  With 1000 plat you could make a new char, and give a neon beard and hair.

There is no easy wipe either. Your character will still be under the same character ID link on the website. Not only that, but it's very difficult for people to not have tells as to who they really are anyway. It's more often than not, totally obvious. lol
