Green thorn *bug* [Not a bug]

When you place a green thorn in snow you spawn a Giant ice Worm, but it doesn't follow the normal "rules" when it comes to that it's supposed to be tamable.

I only killed 14 vorpal bunnies so i can't say whether the statue drop is implemented but I once had an egg drop.
I have not yet tried to plant the thorn in sand.

Yes the giant ice worm was purposely made non tamable as you couldn't tame any such creature in T2A. The only thing the vorpal bunny drops is "brightly colored eggs".

So then what is the purpose of green thorns?

The main use for them is obtaining vines.
