Since the patch, I'm getting some client crashes when I relieve npcs of their miserable existence. At the point of their death animation, the client will frequently crash to the desktop. It doesn't happen every time, but certainly often enough to be inconvenient.

I'm inclined to think it didn't have anything to do with the patch, just because we didn't change anything in regards to NPCs in the last patch. The issue was most likely always there, or it's something on your PC in particular.
Are there particular types of NPCs this is happening with?

Mages exclusively.

I'm pretty sure I didn't kill any mages before the patch. That may be what made me think it was something to do with it.

Escort mages? Type is important, it's possible there can be random occurrences of double layers, if I know the type I can check for them.
A quick look through escort mages didn't reveal anything odd, I'll try spawn some when I am home and see if I can replicate it.

I put my compatability settings to run in windows xp mode and I never have crashes anymore no matter what I do....if you have not maybe try it?
