I've played on a couple of other shards that implemented this and it was really cool.
Use a shovel on sand and get sand ore -> smelt to glass -> craft to glass bottles.

This shard is pretty dedicated to era accuracy, so I'd be surprised if this were implemented.
Neat idea, though. Reminds me of Terraria.

Yup, it's strictly T2A era. Of course that means no plants, which I will miss, but that's okay.
