I always wondered is there are caps to how high level a magical item certain mobs could drop? I.E. Air Eles can only drop up to Accurate and Might. If there is not a restriction perhaps there is just an increased chance on getting the more rare weapons. If so id love to know what those numbers are.

Usually vanqs drop from Balrons and Ancient Wyrm.
Also Jack posted re wep drops from Orphidians and/or Terathans being upgraded to what lvl tho Im not sure...

I can confirm Vanq's drop off Ophidians and Terathans.
